Effective Communication Solutions is dedicated to improving the communication and physical function of our clients in order to enable them to achieve their highest maximum potential.

We offer Physical and Occupational Therapy Service to children birth through 10 years old.  Speech and ABA Therapy is available to clients of all ages.  Our staff offers experiences in the areas of Developmental Delay, Sensory Integration Disorder, Neurological Impairment and Insult, as well as, injury resulting in loss of Physical, Communicative and Cognitive functioning.

New Social Skills classes are forming in May in our Northeast location. 

The classes will be held at 9, 10:15, and 11:30 am on Saturday mornings.  Tuition is $100 for 4 classes per month.

The 4-Week Class is lead by an ABA Therapist and Elementary Education Teacher.  Staff use a combination of Sensory Intergration, Social Stories, Interactive Play, and Role Play to help children learn and cope with everyday activities.  It also promotes socialization and communication with peers in a small group setting.  More advanced groups focus on problem solving, group projects, advanced social issues, the concept of how we are all different, etc. Please call our office at 215-613-6523 for more information.

Our 3rd Annual Autism Awareness Day will be held on May 1, 2010 at the Danube Swabian Club at 1277 Southampton Road from 4pm to 8pm.  Ticket price is $30.  Live music, food, & drinks. Raffles to be auctioned.  Call our office for more information or to purchase tickets at 215-613-6523.

Applications now are available for mini-grants of up to $500 to support individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

 Eligible individuals and families may use this money for a variety of uses — including childcare, camp and recreation programs, conferences and home modifications — as long as the activity occurs between March 1 and August 31,  The deadline to apply is April 17, but funding is limited and not everyone who applies will be approved.  Please call our office to receive information on our Pragmatic Training Summer Camps!

Please note that priority is given to those who have not previously received funding through this grant program. However, those who have received grant funding in previous years are welcome to apply again.
